Since the year 2000, the Association des Femmes Journalistes and Canon France, in partnership with the international Visa pour l’Image festival, and with the support of Figaro Magazine, have awarded an annual prize for women photojournalists. Women photojournalists worldwide are welcome to enter the competition, for which there is no age limit. The 8,000-euro award enables the winners to finance their projects and have their work exhibited at the festival in Perpignan and later in Paris at the Cosmos Galery.
Depuis l’an 2000, l’Association des Femmes Journalistes et Canon France, en partenariat avec le festival international Visa pour l’Image et avec le soutien du Figaro Magazine, décernent chaque année un Prix destiné à soutenir les femmes photojournalistes. Le Prix est ouvert aux femmes photojournalistes du monde entier, sans limite d’âge. Doté d’un montant de 8000 Euros, il permet aux lauréates de financer leurs projets de reportage et de voir leur travail présenté à Perpignan lors du festival puis à Paris à la galerie Cosmos.
