Training for journalists on “The image of women in the media in the Euromed region”

To improve the portrayal of women and to put an end to stereotypes: this is the objective of the training for journalists on the image of women in the media in the Euromed region, which will take place in Brussels from 27-29 June 2011.

This training, offered as part of the regional programme entitled "Enhancing Equality between Men and Women in the Euromed Region (EGEP)" and funded by the European Union, will welcome 25 journalists specialising in written, audiovisual and electronic media across the MEDA region, as well as representatives from Mediterranean partner countries (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Syria and Tunisia) and EU member countries.
